The Benevolent Violinist
Min Lee commanded the attention of her audience at the age of 5 with her musical genius.
Armed with her violin, the young virtuoso not only dazzled her audiences, but used her musical ability to raise funds for charitable causes. In the years since she took to the stage, Min has helped raise more than $5million to the benefit of various local and international organisations in Singapore.
Her performances have benefited selected causes such as International Action for Aids, the HK Red Cross Society, Home Nursing Foundation, The Presidential Charities and the Gifted Young Musicians Fund. Recent performances helped the Children’s Charity of Community Chest, Pallative Care (Ipoh), Dialysis Centres, Penang State Symphony and Chorus and the American Women’s Society in Malaysia.
